14/08/11 There were 'pots for all' at the last regional Hasler marathon race of the 2010-11 season at Ironbridge. Only 6 Lincoln paddlers made the trip to the far West Midlands for this event on the River Severn and all had top 3 finishes. The trophies were specially designed hand made mugs and well worth the trip. All the Lincoln paddlers survived the notorious Jackfield rapids and Mandy and Richard just held off Gary and Steve to win the div 6 doubles. Their win moved Mandy and Richard into joint first place in the Bernard Worth Competition. Despite the small team, Lincoln were the 4th placed club, but Nottingham took the win to move one point ahead of us in the season's final placings in the Midlands Hasler Club Competition.
